CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

As employment expectations are becoming an industry standard, we strongly recommend that all candidates be prepared for any interview. We encourage you to apply for positions that interest you and initiate the process of obtaining the necessary documents. These requirements are consistent throughout the Human Services field and are requirements prior to commencing employment with KARA Family Resource Centre.

You are invited to submit a resume to hr@kara-frc.ca.

The conditions of employment are:

  1. Current Cover Letter and Resume
  2. Two (2) Supervisory and one (1) personal or work related reference
  3. Criminal Record Check through Edmonton Police Service [current within six (6) months]
  4. Intervention Record Check through Alberta Children's Services [current within six (6) months]
  5. Standard First Aid/Level C CPR
  6. Copies of educational diplomas/degrees and if applicable required registration with a professional organization (e.g. RSW)
  7. Copies of all relevant training (e.g. Suicide and Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Aboriginal Awareness, Cultural Diversity Training would be an asset, etc.) dependent on position
